My Style: Mixing Prints

I should be finishing packing, doing laundry, & putting clothes away. But instead, I'm writing a blog post. Sigh. Story of my life. I head south tomorrow to Kansas City to meet up with Kat & take in a few shows for Kansas City Fashion Week. Make sure to follow along on twitter {@samipeterson} & instagram {@_thebrunetteone}! 

Wednesday evening I went out to drinks with Katelyn & Emily {mutual friend & new co-worker}. Our 'just a few drinks' turned into a 5 hour gab session.  I love when you meet people & it feels like you have known them for years.  I don't think we stopped talking once, not even to snap outfit photos {next time we will recap, promise}. We had a fantastic brainstorming session and I can't wait to see what happens next!

So back to the blog post, this is what I wore today. Mixed a few prints, kept the hair low key. I have been obsessing with these shoes since picking them up from the Von Maur sale room {gets me every time}. The low bun was inspired by Lauren Bush's fabulous updo at the Lucky FABB conference yesterday.  

So, that's it. Back to packing.
