Nothing like a much-anticipated clothing debut to get me moving. I ended up purchasing three items from the Jason Wu for Target collection. I put back two dresses at the last minute and slightly regret giving up this lovely number {of course, my boyfriend loved this dress over all of my purchases I brought home, go figure}. But alas, I am completely satisfied with the floral chiffon dress, while still on the fence regarding the two tops that joined with.
What came home with me...
What I left behind...
Do you think I should keep the blouse and tee? Are they chic or too Grandma-ish/'I'm a Cat' lady as described by my boyfriend?
PS. If you could be so kind to vote for me for Refinery 29's Search for the Next Big Style Blogger? Follow the link, click "Popular Contestants" tab and scroll down. Yes, definitely keep the blouse and T-shirt. they are cute!!! I didn't have your courage to go to Target today. I tried to buy it online but the T-shirt was not available and the items that I picked were not also available online. Congratulations on your new pieces!!!
Thank you! I braved the lines, only to find no lines whatsoever, snow storms do that to the mid westerns!
I got up bright and early and hit 2 Target stores close to me. I got the black pleated skirt, the pink dress you 'gave' up and the navy poplin dress that has the red and pink-ish stripes at the bottom. I heard that Target is going to replenish their stock online sometime later this week. I am keeping my eyes peeled because I wanted two things that only were online and sold out fast!
