Dress Colorfully

dress colorfully

I recently purchased three blouses from tobi at an INCREDIBLE price {get yours here} after coveting this J.Crew blouse {three for a little over the price of one, talk about a steal}.  This is how I plan to style each of these blouses once they arrive upon my door step.  Three looks for three occasions - a night out, the office, and a casual weekend look.

currently coveting: monograms

If I have haven't stated it before, I will state again. I love Pinterest. It introduced me to this lovely etsy seller, CrystalBlue07.  She creates this lovely name plate necklaces and initial rings at a very reasonable price.  I must snatch up my own monogrammed ring before they run out!

work it mondays: the printed dress

Every working girl and Everygirl needs a jazzy LBD.  I recently pinned this mixed prints LBD as an inspiration piece to my ever expanding wardrobe.  Printed dresses can be dressed up with a blazer or cardigan, worn with tights or bare legs, and paired with a variety of shoes.  A printed black & white dress will never go out of style.  And in the season of dressing colorfully, try pairing your dress with this and that.

jason wu for target

There is not a lot that can get me out of bed on a Sunday morning. The smell of a fresh pot of coffee and bacon simmering, maybe. Sandwiched in-between stressful Mondays-Fridays, I savor my bed as much as possible on weekend mornings. However; this Sunday led to one exception.

Nothing like a much-anticipated clothing debut to get me moving.  I ended up purchasing three items from the Jason Wu for Target collection.  I put back two dresses at the last minute and slightly regret giving up this lovely number {of course, my boyfriend loved this dress over all of my purchases I brought home, go figure}.  But alas, I am completely satisfied with the floral chiffon dress, while still on the fence regarding the two tops that joined with.

What came home with me...

What I left behind...

Do you think I should keep the blouse and tee? Are they chic or too Grandma-ish/'I'm a Cat' lady as described by my boyfriend?
