Runway to Real Way: Michael Kors Spring '11 RTW

I have been itching to recreate this Michael Kors Spring '11 look from NYFW for the girl on a budget.  This look for less is super low-maintenance.  Throw on this maxi dress with flat sandals to run errands or dress up with these wooden wedges and a punchy necklace when you head out for drinks with the girls!

neon + baubles

Everyone needs a little color in their life! These bright and punchy baubles from BaubleBar would add a pop to any outfit!  I finally snatched my favorite Champagne Bib Necklace after I received an email it had been restocked & have been wearing it non-stop since its arrival! I can't wait to pick up one or two of these neon pieces for this summer!

Spring Awakening

I think all of these heels would be perfect additions to my wardrobe this Spring.

My Style: OOTD

..the view looking down..

Some, scratch that, most days at work require me to be running around the office - which means heels are out of the question.  I think these nude BCBGeneration flats have gotten their money's worth.  With three straight days worth of rain last week, I was finally able to pull out my J.Crew Rainy Day Bow Ballet Flats - it's official - Spring has arrived!

Happy Monday!

Katie Ermilio

My love of Katie Ermilio has been evident for quite some time {see here}.  I spotted a few pins featuring the lovely designer and was instantly connected to image after image of her Central Park West apartment on Manhattan's Upper West Side.  Utterly timeless and chic barely begins to describe that of her apartment and Katie, herself. The granddaughter of Grace Kelly's personal clothier, has come into her own as a designer.  These beautiful photographers capture her lovely style & make me wistful of owning such beautiful pieces to adorn my own home with and to, if only for a moment, encapsulate such class and elegance.

Splurge vs. Steal: Silver Watches

I have been eyeing this Michele watch for the longest time! I have no where near the sufficient amount of funds needed to purchase this watch, but this Kate Spade watch is quite the steal and would make for the perfect everyday watch.

high-waisted & cropped

Warmer temperatures have me wishing for a mini-vacation to some place sunny {I have heard San Diego is sunny and 70 more often then not?!} I can't wait to pull out my fedora and find a pair of high-waisted coral shorts. And this clutch? What is not to love - I'm itching to buy it, but trying to cut back on my shopping habit - maybe someone wants to buy it for me for my birthday next month??

minted

I have an obsession with colored denim.  Especially these Paige Verdugo Ultra Skinnies in Mint. What new colors are you excited to wear for spring?

hi-low

There's something about a pleated skirt that I have always loved. Flirty, fun and simply meant to be twirled in. I love pairing neutrals with a pop of color.  I would wear this outfit with a top knot, a hint of blush and a pink lip! How would you wear it?

chic home offices

With the amount of blogging and, at times work, I do at home, I would love to set up a *chic*  small home office area.  In the past, when I have had a desk in my room, it became merely a catch-all for all my junk.  One of my new goals is to be more organized and this would be a perfect way to start! I love the punches of color, whether it be yellow or pink. Also, I have decided I need a ghost chair & a parsons desk!

Do you have a home office? How do you decorate it?

My Style: Pink Lady

{Pink Jeans, Old Navy Sweater, J.Crew Clutch {similar}, Banana Republic Factory Flats {similar}, Spike the Punch Necklace}

This is what I wore last Sunday - lounging, cleaning my closet, and running errands.  These pants were $8. I kid you not - only $8.  Best decision of my life. So was this sweater, which I also have in gray {see how I styled it here}.  Like many others, I'm trying to wear more color this spring and I have a feeling these jeans will be quite the staple over the next few months!
Happy Friday & Happy {early} St. Paddy's Day!

My Style: Pencil Skirts & Peplums

{ASOS Pencil Skirt, ALDO Heels, AE Jacket {similar}, StyleMint tee, London Fog Bag {similar}, Marc Jacob Sunnies, Vintage Necklace & bracelets}

I've been holding on to this pencil skirt from ASOS for a few weeks and it wasn't until Blair posted this monochromatic look that I knew what to pair it with.  It's funny that it just takes wearing something once to imagine possibilities of remixing it with other items I already own - but I'll be the first to admit that after stripes, my go to is always my trusty chambray button up! To style this for work - I switched out the heels for leopard flats & wore a DIY pearl necklace via ps. i made this {see the outfit here}.
