DIY: Zoe Karssen Creme De La Creme Tee

My last and final DIY from my Sunday craft day is this lovely tee inspired by yet another Zoe Karssen design. I followed the same instructions from this post and in less than 10 minutes I had a new shirt! I can't wait to try this on a sweatshirt I recently picked up from Forever 21 and recreate this look

So tell me, are you going to recreate any of these t-shirts? What DIY's are you trying out lately?

Happy Hump Day!

My Style: Pencil Skirts & Peplums

{ASOS Pencil Skirt, ALDO Heels, AE Jacket {similar}, StyleMint tee, London Fog Bag {similar}, Marc Jacob Sunnies, Vintage Necklace & bracelets}

I've been holding on to this pencil skirt from ASOS for a few weeks and it wasn't until Blair posted this monochromatic look that I knew what to pair it with.  It's funny that it just takes wearing something once to imagine possibilities of remixing it with other items I already own - but I'll be the first to admit that after stripes, my go to is always my trusty chambray button up! To style this for work - I switched out the heels for leopard flats & wore a DIY pearl necklace via ps. i made this {see the outfit here}.

stripes & denim

I have a slight obsession with Blair from Atlantic-Pacific.  This outfit is merely Exhibit A & even inspired me to create this outfit.  Just rocking some stripes and denim, no big deal.  She can even pull off the, "This ole' jacket, no big thing, I'll just tie it around my waist." look.  So chic & simply effortless.

This is my version of Blair's look, each piece under $100!

plaid about town

On a recent trip to J.Crew, I picked up what is sure to be a closet staple - a trusty plaid shirt.  It's a bit preppy, a little rock & roll, and of course country inspired.  It was made to be the perfect layering piece under leather jackets, chambray tops, & knit sweaters.  Throw on your favorite jeans or a tough leather skirt, a red lip & your look's complete!

she's from boston

The weatherman just determined that the cold temps will be sticking around.  Though I am set with my fair share of winter coats to keep me warm; I just fell in love with this coat from Shop Mamie, it's pretty and practical. And it also didn't help when I saw another cobalt blue coat that made me wish money grew on trees when Blair from Atlantic-Pacific posted photos from her video shoot with DVF.
