Every year Hy-Vee puts on a Ladies Night event to benefit JDRF.  Last year, I walked in the fashion show for Blond Genius and was asked to come back again for this year’s show! Last Monday, the ‘models’ made their way through the racks of Blond Genius and took a trip to their denim bar to find the best outfits to showcase the upcoming trends for spring & summer.  I loved getting to play dress up, especially with this Equipment blouse -- let's just say if money grew on trees I would own this blouse in every color & pattern possible!

I wore this lovely spring number to work last Friday and then to the Hy-Vee Ladies Night event where I modeled for Blond Genius {more photos to come}. Friday is always jeans day at work but for some reason I just wasn't feeling it.  I decided to add a bit more color to my day and these Gap khakis fit the bill.  As it turns out, I wasn't the only one with coral on the brain - my future sister-in-law turned up to the event in coral skinnies from H&M!
