I wore this lovely spring number to work last Friday and then to the Hy-Vee Ladies Night event where I modeled for Blond Genius {more photos to come}. Friday is always jeans day at work but for some reason I just wasn't feeling it. I decided to add a bit more color to my day and these Gap khakis fit the bill. As it turns out, I wasn't the only one with coral on the brain - my future sister-in-law turned up to the event in coral skinnies from H&M!
P.S. Thanks to Caitlin from Style Within Reach for recommending me Revlon's Stormy Pink! A soft, lovely shade of pink, perfect to wear all day long.
This is one of the Tobi blouses I picked up in lieu of spending a fortune on the beautiful, but oh so expensive equipment blouses. I went out on a limb purchasing this color, as I'm not one to typically step outside of my blues & blacks. But tis the season of color - so I give you this look inspired by this outfit from My Style Pill.
I have been coveting this kate spade westward adventurer satchel for the longest time. A few weekends ago, while shopping in Minneapolis, I came across a bag from the westward collection. At a price tag of over $500, I cringed as I held it in my hands and knew that it would simply never be mine. I could never spend that much on a purse, no matter how much I loved it. Thankfully, due to my obsession with finding the look for less, I came across this London Fog tote and couldn't help but swoon at price tag. But at these prices - $69.99 for the small version & $79.99 for the larger tote?! Sign, sealed, delivered...it's mine.
PS. If you’re in Des Moines this Thursday 3/8, be sure to stop by Worn in the Shops at Roosevelt for a girls night out from 6-8 p.m. Shopping, wine, and 20% off your purchase of $50 or more. Kiley of A Sequin Dress at Breakfast and I will be on hand to chat spring style!
