Blogger Buzz vol. 10

Last month, The Blogger Buzz shared books they like to cozy up with on rainy daysAnd since April showers bring May flowers, the crew thought it might be fun to share their favorite blooms.
  1. Samantha Peterson of The Brunette One // I love Ranunculus, such a simple and lush beauty!
  2. Lauren Felix of La Petite Fashionista // When I first moved to Wisconsin, I was so spoiled because I had Peonies growing right outside my house! I was always sticking them in mason jars.
  3. Meghan Anderson of Downtown Daydreams // It depends on the season, but Peonies always catch my eye! I love how dainty they are, and adore the plethora of beautiful colors you can find them blooming in.
  4. Laura Podlich of Beauty & the Beard //  Orange Lilies remind me of my mother's gardens at the house I grew up in!
  5. Katherine Nolden of The Duchess of Plumewood // Gerber Daisies lift my mood every time I see them—so bright and fun!
  6. Ashley Fine of One Fine Day // Whenever I have white-colored Hydrangeas in the house, I suddenly feel as though I live in a Nancy Meyers flick (Something's Gotta Give, anyone?), or I could mingle with Ina Garten in The Hamptons.
What's your bloom of choice? Do tell.

The Blogger Buzz is back! This month we're sharing our newest reads!
Where'd You Go Bernadette: Meghan Anderson from Downtown Daydreams. The perfect beach read and I loved the uirky story of the young girl and her mother. Plus the bright cover is a perfect addition to any bookshelf!

Allegiant: Samantha Peterson from The Brunette One. Finishing up this trilogy was a must for me, though I'm on the fence on how it ended - what did you think?!

Making Ideas Happen: Laura Podlich from Beauty and the Beard. It was slow at first, but had some excellent tips on taking ownership for your ideas and executing them flawlessly!

The Divorce Papers: Katherine of The Duchess of Plumewood. A fun read that was just the thing to get my mind off my looming law school finals!

Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook: Lauren Felix of La Petite Fashionista. I'm a total social media nerd and he talks about the industry in a really inventive way!

What is on your spring reading list - let me know in the comments below!

The Blogger Buzz is back. This month, we share which shoes will add a little pep to our step this Spring!
  1. Meghan Anderson of Downtown Daydreams // I am such a sucker for DV by Dolce Vita neutral-colored wedges. These fun shoes can be thrown on with white pants or sundresses and I love that they're so easy to walk and dance in. I run them into the ground every spring/summer!
  2. Samantha Peterson via The Brunette One // I love 'The Lauryn' from Sole Society. I'm excited to bust out all of my favorite flats without worrying about them being ruined my the salt and snow!
  3. Katherine Nolden of The Duchess of Plumewood // These Kate Spade 'Fab' Jelly Sandals are outstanding! A bow, bright punchy color, and in jelly! Sign my feet up!
  4. Laura Podlich of Beauty & the Beard // These Gap Striped Pointy Flats are beyond cute—they get me so excited for Spring!
  5. Lauren Felix of La Petite Fashionista // I'm obsessed with these Lasercut Leather Heels. I can totally imagine them with all my sundresses (or packed in my luggage for a last-minute Mexico vacay)!

Merry + Happy: The Blogger Buzz December Edition

Sharing our stocking wishlists...
  • I already have a place picked out for this print in my living room! The room is basically British themed and I love how punchy and bright this is! Evelyn Henson is really fantastic!
  • This cake stand is so fun! I can just imagine putting fun cakes on this at the party I have to throw for my birthday bucket list
  • need this necklace! I love the script and I feel like it would be a staple in my wardrobe and I could layer it with other necklaces!
FIVE: Ashley Fine of One Fine Day
  • I'm smitten with Meg Gleason's work. The pops of color and two-centuries old letterpress from which her products are printed. I die. This hand-bound "letterquette" is just lovely!
  • Gin in a Teapot — I'm certain it was created with me in mind!
  • Being punctual never looked so sparkly. This watch from Kate Spade would look snazzy on my wrist.

The Blogger Buzz, vol. 3

It's that time again...today we are talking all about our beauty must-haves!

 1. // Ashley Fine of One Fine Day
I love The Beauty Blender: This bright pink makeup sponge lives up to the hype. Believe me, I hate gimmicks! Since I started using it earlier this year, I've received so many compliments regarding my complexion. I've never considered myself to be someone who has nice skin, so this was a huge coup! The application is foolproof and foundation looks airbrushed. What's not to love?
  2. // Samantha Peterson of The Brunette One
I can't live without my Urban Decay Naked Palette! While the price is a bit steep, it is worth the investment. Easily go from day to night with the multitude of neutral shades offered! A huge plus? It makes packing my make-up a breeze. If you want something a bit smaller, try out theNaked Basics Palette.
 3. // Lauren Felix of La Petite Fashionista
I've been trying to convert over to more natural + chemical free beauty products and was SO thrilled when my mom introduced me to The Honest Company- founded by Jessica Alba. The Lavender Mint flavor of this Honest Company Organic Lip Balm is my favorite- it's ultra-moisturizing and will be a total lifesaver this winter!
  4. // Laura Podlich of Beauty and the Beard
My one beauty buy I can't live without is One Love Organics- Skin Savior. This stuff is seriously magic. It makes your skin softer than you could ever imagine as a moisturizer, and doubles as a waterless balm to remove makeup without irritation. PLUS it smells heavenly!
   5. // Katherine Nolden of The Duchess of Plumewood
I use this Clarisonic Mia every single night! I love how deeply it cleans my skin; I swear my skin has never looked better since I started using the Mia! Plus, I feel that the other beauty products I use are more effective because they can better penetrate my skin after it’s been cleansed so thoroughly!

What's your beauty must-have this fall?!
